Mark Arnold has been a native of Spokane for the last 65 years. He taught English and coached Soccer at Gonzaga Prep, Managed Playfair Race Course from 1981-1988, and then began a career with Pyrotek Inc. He progressed from Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, Product and Program Manager, to Global Product and Development Manager for the Advanced Materials Division by the end of his career. He retired in August 2020. Numerous new product lines were developed under his leadership.
Mark is an experienced Business Manager and loves to learn how to turn an opportunity in to a success. He has volunteered on several School Boards, as a soccer coach, and helped start the Inland Empire Soccer Referees Association and high-school and youth soccer in the area. He is dedicated to helping make the Spokane Community a better place to live.
His current volunteer efforts are focused on the Spokane C.O.P.S (Community Oriented Policing Services) and on Feed Spokane writing grant applications with an eye to sustainable funding.
Mark is married to Robin and they have four grown children and four grandchildren. With the exception of one son, all live in Spokane. He enjoys hiking, fishing, literature, and traveling to new places…and is an avid USA Men and Women’s National Soccer Team fanatic.
