Mark Kinney

Board Member
Mark Kinney is a retired Air Force officer who grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and chose to make Spokane his home after serving 20 years in the USAF, six at Fairchild AFB. In addition to serving on Feed Spokane’s board of directors, Mark is a past president of Kiwanis Club of East Spokane and attends Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church where he is stewardship committee chairman. Mark has served as a nonprofit executive director at Mission Community Outreach Center and currently serves as vice president of its board of directors.
He has experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as a financial advisor in Spokane. Mark is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a B.S. in Sociology and Whitworth University with an M.Ed. in Administrative Leadership.
Mark has lived in Spokane Valley since his retiring from the USAF in 2007. He has three grown children, daughters living in Spokane Valley and a son living in Chandler, AZ. His grandson, Kyle, is the same age as Mark’s 2002 Ford pickup.
